2010 Line-up
His name is an undisputed point of reference in pop music. The Modfather is a legend who continues offering surprising albums that illustrate a career brimming with unforgettable songs. Who does not remember The Jam? In the heyday of punk, this three-man band led by Weller created a songbook full of irresistible reminiscences of the sixties that are as fresh today as they were then.
In 1982, Paul Weller embarked on a new direction with The Style Council, and exuberant project in which he explored more musical style and gave us great number of brilliant songs. But that foray into the more colourful side of pop soon led to a new exploration of the most varied rock, leaving no stone unturned that might nurture his song-writing potential. As such, albums like “Wild Wood” (1994), “Heavy Soul” (1997), “Illumination” (2002), “As Is Now” (2005) and the recently released “22 Dreams” (2008) illustrate a method of making memorable music that only proves Weller is more inspired today than ever and at the top of his game.
