What should I do if my tickets don't have my name on them?

We’ve received a number of questions from visitors asking the same sort of question. So this information is for all of you who have tickets that don’t have your own name on them.

Perhaps you bought your tickets from eBay? Or perhaps your parents or friend used their credit card to buy your tickets?

In any case, what do you do if your tickets don’t show your name?

The official FiberFib website has a helpful page of advice (http://tickets.fiberfib.com/help-benicassim/).

In particular, at the time of writing this article, they say the following (in item 2):

“In the event that the ticket is to be picked up by someone other than the person who purchased it, he/she must present (in addition to his/her national ID card) written authorisation from the cardholder and a copy of the cardholder’s national ID card or passport.”

So it’s vital that if your tickets don’t have your own name on them that you obtain written authorization from the person who’s name they have – and you’ll need a copy of their passport or national ID card.

If you have any questions, please direct them to the official organizers who can be found here: http://tickets.fiberfib.com/contact-benicassim/ (there’s an email address on that page).

Be prepared – and enjoy the festival!

We’ve just received this information from the official organizers:

“Names on tickets cannot be changed, but this is only a security meassure, the important thing of tikets is the barcode (it needs to be validated at the entrance). However, if the person who is going to the festival is not the one that figures on the ticket, it is convenient when attending the festival to take a document with an authorisation from the real purchaser (not necessarily a special authorisation) and a copy of his passport. This will help to check the purchase in case any complication arises.”
