It's been reported to us that a hurricane passed through the Benicassim festival last night (17th July). According to one eye witness, who was right in the middle of it, the huricane more or less destroyed the main stage and started a fire resulting in some of last night's concerts being cancelled (including the Kings of Leon).
With parts of the festival now resembling a refugee camp, the organisers are working hard to repair the damage and reschedule the acts.
Earlier it was rumoured that The Kings of Leon were to have been rescheduled to the 18th (Sat) but the NME have just published a story confirming that the band have had to pull out indefinitely: Kings of Leon Cancelled
